Country Girl at Summer Hill | Magnolia stamp new release

Hi folks!

It's me with a card using the new release images from Magnolia stamp company Sweden - Country Girl, the collection has a bunch lovely images and for my card today I am using Sitting Tilda with Clogs , Happy Swing and Swing Branch.

I stamped all three images with masking stamping technique on Canson Illustration paper and colored with watercolor. I also give my main panel the scenery about the summer hill.

Pardon if there is something missing on my scenery, but as this is a handmade card and not such a realistic picture, I think it is ok to have fun with the free imagination.

I have a video the way I am painting the scenery if you want to take a look ;)

Supplies :
Magnolia stamp images - Country Girl | Magnolia DooHickey Dies | Winsor & Newton Cotman series watercolor

Thank's so much for stopping by!

Miss you more than just a little | Free hand watercolor painting hill and river scenery

Hello !!

It's me here and I am so glad to say hello to all my lovely readers :)

Today I am sharing a card that I made it simple yet focusing to the image it self. I am using Magnolia stamp : Flower Girl Tilda from the latest collection Believe in Unicorns.
When I saw this Tilda at the very first time, I really want to use this image to represent me, my self .. when I am missing someone and I sit on the scene to wait ..
and here are the pictures about my card :

I just add one decoration, but it means a lot!
a note.. secret note for someone very special ;)
I cut the edge using Magnolia DooHickey.

Closer .. I paint the scenery using watercolors, here I use Winsor and Newton Cotman for all the main paintings whereas the dark brown I always count on Gansai Tambi watercolor.

and this is the words from the heart ..
I Miss you more than just a little

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you can get something from here and it would be my pleasure to bring a little inspiration for you.
I will see you again next time!

Love, Yulis

and welcome to my stop ...

Currently I just love  to do some doodling, water coloring, color chart journey .. on my traveler's note book  .. and about May .. this month brings various feeling for me! I just imagine about the flower blooms, all the charming of this season and yeah .. the Build a Bloom stamp set is perfect! I made a pattern paper using that stamp, cut the edges using the Scallop Borders 2 dies, and manual stitched on the top of that panel.
Wording is coming from Thoughtful Greetings stamps set.
I also stamped some flowers and excuse me for my amateur lettering .. as a beginner I still learn .. then I blow out some green paint using a straw, to get a little artsy look, and the final touch I adhere some newest sequins ; 6 mm Champagne - 4 mm Champagne - Mini Sparkling clear flower.
I love to say ...  Hello May!!!

here is another story ..

I almost always have a story behind my creation/projects .. :)
little story about this .... I miss my son who is studying abroad, I am thinking of him everyday .. when he is home we are very pleased .. and yeah .. everything is better when he is around!
I have two sons and both having my heart but being nestle together is the most wonderful moment :)
So, the Bee Friends stamps set & dies  is seriously won my heart! as perfect as the Build a Bloom
stamp & dies, their coordinating dies made everything more easy too.
I love making my scene using both of them.

Here are more photos in case you want to look more closer ..

I am using Kuretake Gansai tambi for the scenery & Zig Clean color real brush for the bees and flowers
Bees : Natural Gray - Yellow - Light Brown - Blue Gray - Haze Blue - Light Pink
Flowers & Leave : Olive Green - Light Pink - Pale Rose - Light Brown - Yellow

and pardon that I can't resist to make another project using the Build a Bloom  .. I promise this is the last .. hee hee ...

I stamps the flowers and leaves using Versafine toffee and color with watercolor , splatter teal color here and there as well as some gold from Kuretake starry gansai paint.
I made an envelope for 4 bar card size, cut again the opener part using the Scallop border dies, and I wrap my envelope using the pattern paper I have made.
All words coming from Thoughtful Greetings.

Okay ... that's all from me ..
It is now time to head on over to Suzy Plantamura's blog to enjoy the amazing creation she has create..
remember if you have lost your way,
these are the amazing talents in the hop… be sure to go visit each one!

Thank you for reading and Have a fun Blog Hop!

7 Days of Easter - Day 01 Close to my Heart

Hi all!!

How are you and is there any bunnies still around ? hee hee ...
I've got a little bit busy on this early April but I still want to share all things, one by one ..
and this is for Day 01

Today is about making background, and I choose to painting a beach scene
I use Winsor & Newton watercolor paint, but keep in mind  that on card making, we can use whatever we may have, if you have an artist grade watercolor, is great! but if you have school grade on hand, it was totally fine! and go with it .. your hand and passion is the most important thing.

I also make a faux iron anchor from a die cut out paper,
for more detail how I make this card you can watch on this video :

Supplies : Day 01 Hoppy Easter from Magnolia Rubber stamp.

Thank you so much for reading and see you again!
Have a great day!

I realized that I have a lot stock of stamps and I feel sorry if I just use them for card making, I want to do more! so, I try to use them to decorate my traveller's notebook ..

Always love the words about friend and best friend ...

... and these two images can fit each other, how cute they are!

It might be a short post from me, but I will try my best to be here again pretty soon!
So, Thank you so much for reading my post today and hope you'll get some inspiration to use your stamps and stuff in many ways too.

Spring, Spring is finally here! | Flowers doodling on traveler's notebook

Dear readers ...

Wishing you a good day!
Today's post is another watercolor doodling from me :)

On my traveler's notebook, I wrote a poem  I found around the internet and I am so in LOVE with it.
yeah ... Spring is finally here! Hope the words describe that all of you already surrounded by the beautiful season!

I just want to keep that poem on my notebook so  if you spot any ugly handwriting, I am so sorry for that, I try to be better next time :)
I am doodling some flowers, painting with watercolor direct on the notebook was pleasant to me!
and I use two sizes of brushes; number 0 and 4
A new color comes to my box, cobalt turquoise from Winsor and Newton has won my heart!
that color so beautiful to background my doodling

I want my journal today more cheerful, so I pick an image from Magnolia stamp : Dressed for Festivity Tilda and I coloring her using soft tone color so she looks more charming :)

How can I resist from these beautiful words from Robin William ..
so, let's join the party!
Yellow, Red, Green ... all blooms together .. yeah Spring is finally here!!

That's my post for today :)
Thank you so much for reading,
I hope you can find something here that inspired you. I'll see you again!

Easter Blessings | Faux wooden cross using watercolor

Hi readers!

I hope the beauty of spring will soon arrive, and butterfly sorely missed its arrival!
and flowers ... who doesn't want to see them to bloom again?
yeah .. Spring will let the winter get their vacation .. LOL!!
Ok, beside  the beautiful things .. the Easter blessings is the most beautiful for me!
and  all of this has inspired me to make my project bellow ..

I made a faux wooden using watercolor, wood grain stamp {from Magnolia Vintage Box} and clear embossing powder.

I just make it simple yet elegant to focusing on the die cut [ Cross with Flowers and Leaves ].
and some gold sequins will add some shinny touch.

and for the biggest shape [ Cross with Wreath ] I am using it to make a bookmark.
I think the faux wooden grain looks more details on the big cross.

Here is the 3rd one, and this set called Cross with Dove, and really the dove is so beautiful and peaceful.

About the faux wooden I'll show you how to make them on this video :

Thank you so much that you are sticking with me here and reading my blog post.
I'll see you again .. Have a great day1
